Licensed as a Mental Health Counselor in Washington State, Susan Scott’s education and training is in Jungian analytical psychology. She offers counseling sessions that inspire a devotion to being honest, self-reflecting, and willing to make life-enhancing changes in behavior and attitudes. Susan specializes in listening to, and collaborating with, the generative spark that is in-born within us all. In her book, Healing with Nature, she presents fresh perspectives on the phenomenon of psychological healing and healing within the natural world.
When weather permits, walking during sessions is offered to clients who want to combine dialogue, movement, and connection to nature as part of the counseling process. Susan practices a variety of interactive skills during sessions: active listening, voice-dialogue, dream-work, and active imagination in behalf of welcoming each person’s unique self-expression. She encourages clients to engage in practices that support good health in mind, body, and spirit. Fifty-minute sessions are available by phone, Zoom, and in-person at her Langley office with payment made at the time via cash, check, or Square.
